The University of Leeds
Structure Vision is a spinout Company from the Institute of Particle Science and Engineering at the University of Leeds and our software is the result of many years of research and development carried out at Leeds.

The University remains a significant shareholder in Structure Vision and continues to play a key role in the success of the business by providing unique links to leading edge research and resources.

Techtran is the commercialisation and investment partner for the University of Leeds and manages all company spin-outs from the University. Techtran works in partnership with the University to provide commercialisation services and initial venture capital investment for new technologies emerging from the University.

Techtran was responsible for the initial commercialisation of the Structure Vision business and provided the necessary infrastructure and finance to ensure a smooth transition of Structure Vision from academic concept to growing company.

IP Group Plc
IP Group Plc is the parent company of Techtran and has developed a highly innovative business model based on building long-term partnerships with world class research institutions. Although no one partnership is the same, in each case IP Group Plc offers:

• Significant support for its university partners' IP commercialisation activities and in particular, expertise in the identification of novel intellectual property with commercial potential
• Seed capital finance for spin out companies
• Ongoing strategic and financial support for spin out companies to maximise their chances of success

The company has had a string of commercial successes focussing on novel University intellectual property.

Concept Flow
Concept Flow are approved resellers of Structure Vision software. Concept Flow provides independent engineering analysis to the global healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Concept Flow specialises in the simulation of fluid flow, particle dynamics, droplet dynamics and heat and mass transfer for healthcare and pharmaceutical applications.
